Gia Lanay, Year 2000

This girl was entertaining, nonstop. She interviewed for the open model position with her friend, Tabitha Katz. I met these two at the usual restaurant in Detroit where I met all prospective models. We chatted for three hours, cracking each other up and (obviously) getting along perfectly. Gia was full of crazy stories and she was not afraid to laugh with complete abandon.

Naturally, it was exceptionally fun to put a gag in her mouth. For this flashback scene from almost 14 years ago, we were shooting in Rasputin's condo high-rise that had a basement storage facility for everyone who lived there. It was a maze of cages -- fantastic for chase scenes. We used the hell out of that place, always keeping en ear out of someone was coming in. No one ever did. This clip has some funny outtakes, always fun to check these out.
